Each year at our annual Christmas Party
OG West Penn SchH Club has what we call a Night Walk.

We always start with a bonfire. For 2 reasons, 1- so the new dogs
get to see a fire and 2- so we can keep warm.
We had snow this year so the path was easy to mark.
The first "obstacle" was a large box with a person hidden inside.
The box would move as you went by it. Next was a Halloween leftover,
a sound activated ghost that would make noise and move up and down
as you approached.

Every year we have had some type of scarecrow or silhouette of a man
but this year we had a flock of them. The last one had a walkie-talkie
in its pocket so it would talk to you as you went by it.

There was a tarp laid out to walk across and then a "strange" man
would get out of his car as you walked by him.

This was the "agility" portion. You would walk the "dog walk"
and then a teeter-totter.

Then you would enter the building through the water bottle curtain.
I couldn't get a good picture of it but, you would then walk down
a hall that would be filled with fog (from our fog machine).
And at the end of the hallway there was a wall of boxes that you
and the dog would have to bust through.

When you came through the box wall there were 3 boxes on the ground
for your dog to check. The first had a snake skin in it and the next 2 had
animal pelts in them. The fox was open and the other was closed with
a slot cut in the top.

At the end there was a swimming pool full of empty water bottles
for them to walk through and then a table full of treat bags for both
the dogs and their owners. (Donated by Yvette Golda - Thanks)
